Last Friday our school community came together to celebrate Socktober, with students wearing their craziest, brightest and most colourful socks to school in exchange for a gold coin donation.
As part of our celebrations, we gathered for a special Mission Mass, where we prayed for the people of Malawi and reflected on our calling as Catholics to follow in Jesus’ footsteps. We were reminded that Jesus calls each of us to be missionaries of His love, showing kindness, compassion and generosity to those in need, both within our own community and across the world. Through our prayers, donations and actions, we can make a difference and live out Jesus’ mission of loving and serving others.
We would like to thank all our families for their generosity and support in helping us put our faith into action. St Christopher’s raised $253, what an amazing achievement.
