Curriculum

The students at St Christopher’s are engaged in meaningful, personalised learning opportunities that have an authentic purpose.

At St Christopher’s, learning is guided by the Victorian Curriculum 2.0 and enriched through the purposeful integration of technology, creating engaging learning experiences and strengthening connections with local and global communities.

Teachers use data to inform teaching, ensuring students’ individual learning needs are met through targeted small-group instruction and differentiated learning experiences. Specialised programs are available for students who demonstrate particular needs or talents across the curriculum.

We value strong partnerships between school and home, recognising that working together supports the best outcomes for every child. We also foster meaningful connections with our Parish and wider community to promote the wellbeing of students, families, staff and parishioners.

Collaboration is at the heart of learning at St Christopher’s. Through cross-age learning and teamwork, students develop confidence, communication and interpersonal skills. Our staff are committed to educating the whole child in an environment where faith, culture and learning are celebrated, empowering every student to shape and enrich their world with meaning, purpose and hope through their encounter with the living Jesus.

Victorian Curriculum

At St Christopher’s, teaching and learning from Prep to Year 6 are guided by the Victorian Curriculum 2.0.

The Victorian Curriculum 2.0 outlines the knowledge, skills and capabilities students are expected to develop at each year level and provides clear achievement standards to monitor their progress. At St Christopher’s, our teachers deliver engaging, high-quality learning experiences that equip students with the knowledge, skills and confidence to become independent learners, build positive relationships, understand the world around them, and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
