Return To On Site School
16 October, 2020

At last we were able to welcome students back on site last Monday. It was terrific to see their happy faces again running around the playground with their friends. Despite some anxiety from a few students (as well as parents and teachers), the day ran smoothly. We are looking forward to re-establishing routines and resuming some form of normality. There are obviously restrictions around the way that schools can operate at the moment. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in following these guidelines and safety measures.

Please note that there is a public holiday next Friday 23 October (day before AFL Grand Final). There will also be a school closure day on Monday 2 November (day before Melbourne Cup).

School – Covid-19 Parent/Carer Safety Procedures

Please ensure that you follow the following procedures in order to protect our community;

  • advise the school if your child has been in close contact with a confirmed case of Covid-19
  • do not send your child to school if they are unwell
  • physical distancing – please ensure you remain at least 1.5 metres from other adults when on the school site
  • provide your child with a drink bottle for use at school
  • do not enter the school building unless it is essential to do so. Use the office entry if this is the case
  • after dropping off or picking up your child, please leave the school site promptly (unfortunately the adventure playground cannot be used after school at the moment)
  • do not attend the school site if you are unwell

Great to be back!
