Farewell Mr De Leo
18 December, 2021

On Thursday 17th of December 2021, we farewelled Mr De Leo after 22 years of service to St. Christopher’s Primary School. Each class presented Mr De Leo with a gift that included a ‘survival kit’, a book of things to do in retirement, a message board and a performance that reflected on some of Mr De Leo’s funny times at school. We thank Mr De Leo for everything he has done to support our school. He will be greatly missed and we wish him all the best.

Farewell and Thank you from Mr De Leo

As I enter retirement and the next exciting chapter in my life, I look back on the last 22  years at St Christopher’s with great fondness and happiness. St Christopher’s has been a wonderful place to work and I’ve enjoyed every minute. So it is with great joy and great sadness that I retire from teaching to do more of the things that I love doing with my family.

I give thanks to God, for all the wonderful office staff, teachers, learning support officers, after care staff, students, parents and parishioners of the St Christopher’s community that I’ve been so lucky to be a part of for so many years. I thank my colleagues for their support and friendship over the many years – you have all been amazing. I would also like to thank my wonderful family for their help and support over the years.

It has indeed been a pleasure and an honour to be a member of St Christopher’s and I will never forget my time here. Most of all, I will remember all the happy smiling faces and all the fun times we shared together.  So farewell, take care and all the very best for a Happy and Holy Christmas and a wonderful fun filled New Year.
